U.S. Presidential Scholars

The U.S. Presidential Scholars program is one of the nation’s highest honors for graduating high school seniors. It was established in 1964 by Executive Order to recognize and honor some of the country’s most distinguished students.

The program honors high school seniors who demonstrate exceptional achievement in academics, the arts, or beginning in 2015 in career and technical education (CTE). Students may also be recognized for overcoming significant challenges to achieve excellence.
